Sulfur for the SS™-10

The Sweetwater Solution™ burns elemental sulfur to create SO₂ gas. The oxidized sulfur blends with irrigation water to create sulfurous acid for the purpose of improving water and soil conditions. Since the sulfurous acid produced in the Sweetwater sulfur burner is diluted by water during production, the solution is very mild compared to concentrated sulfuric, infuric, and citric acids used for similar purposes.

Agua Dulce recognizes that the quality of sulfur is directly related to the performance of the SS™-10. We encourage owners to seek out 99.5% assay or higher elemental sulfur at the best available price.*

*Some suppliers produce sulfur prill using a "wet" process which can cause part failure. When seeking out sulfur supply, Agua Dulce recommends that users specify the need for "dry" process sulfur for use in the Sweetwater sulfur burner.
